Our Story

We swiped right the winter of 2021. The fog of the pandemic parted long enough for us to meet in person under a heat lamp outside a wine bar in the gayborhood. We ordered olives and watched each other gracefully spit the pits out into a bowl. Matching Carhart beanies, wine, music discussions, and shared laughter marked the beginning of our story. Eight hours flew by as we got to know each other, and the night still felt short. “Well, now you know everything,” I said, realizing that talking to you was effortless, and something special was happening.

In the following months, we bounced between our small apartments, enjoying the ordinary yet extraordinary moments. We would take walks, share books, true crime podcasts, drinks at Tasker beach, and learn songs on your ukelele. Cooking together led to close calls with nearly setting your apartment on fire, but it was all part of the charm. Trips to Central PA and the Jersey shore brought us closer to each other and the more we spent time together, the less we wanted to be apart. Less than a year later, we found a row home in South Philly. We started fixing things up together, our shared journey unfolded, marked by more laughs, shrimp tacos, and the promise of a future we were building with every passing day.
